I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. Psalm 71:16 NKJV
The consistent theme in my prayer life has been, “Lord please do not to leave me to myself.”
Through the trials and tribulations, the blessings, good times and bad Jesus has been with me. He is with me now as I type out the message He gives me.
I love Jesus! I am not afraid ashamed or embarrassed to say so!
God brought me to a place where sharing the Gospel is the priority of my life. Sharing the love of Jesus with His people is a blessing. Jesus has given me the grace to share with other people the things He puts in my heart.
Jesus said He would enable me to speak for Him. He told me I would share His message of salvation with the world. The Lord called me His servant. How do I know it was Him?
God tells us the Holy Spirit will enable us to speak for Jesus. We are a Royal Priesthood. We are ambassadors for Christ. We are called to be ministers of reconciliation. We are called to share the message of salvation with the lost the lonely and the brokenhearted.
Jesus is not calling us to serve Him in our own strength and wisdom. He is not calling us to employ the latest sales and marketing techniques to reach people. Jesus does not want us to do anything other than rely on Him as we share His righteousness with people.
The people serving Jesus around the world are not perfect. Jesus does not expect His servants to be perfect. Jesus expects His servants to rely on Him to share the love of God with people through them.
We cannot save anyone. We cannot live according to God’s will in our own strength. Jesus knows if He had to depend on us to reach the lost the lonely and the brokenhearted they would stay that way!
God’s love for us is so great we are compelled to share it with other people. The grace of God transforms us into lovers of God. It makes us want to share His love with other people.
When we allow God to work in us and through us He gives us His heart for His people. When we follow God with all of our hearts and strength He gives us the mind of Christ. Jesus opens doors no man can close. Jesus closes doors no man can open.
Declare righteousness of God with someone today. Share the love of Jesus for His people every day!
