And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” Ezekiel 2:1 NKJV
God chose Ezekiel to be a Prophet. God spoke to the Prophet. The prophet spoke to God’s people. Before a Prophet could speak the words of God he had to know the Word of God.
What did God say to His people through Ezekiel? Ezekiel was sent to pronounce judgment on Israel. God would judge Israel for their sin. He would judge them for turning their backs on Him.
In the book of Ezekiel God says; “Then you shall know that I Am the Lord,” “I Am the Lord your God”, “They will be My people and I will be their God,” or similar statements over seventy times!
God’s people sinned. They made mistakes. But the Lord would never turn His back on them. He would pursue them with His love. He would be their God. They would be His people!
You have made mistakes. You have sinned. God will never turn His back on you. Jesus will pursue you with His love forever!
God spoke these words to the enemies of His people as well. He would judge them. They would know He alone is God in the heavens above and on the Earth below!
