Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to Your name.” Psalm 66 NKJV
David praises God for His awesome works. He exhorts us to do the same. Should we praise the Lord only when life is easy? Should we declare His awesome works only during seasons of blessing and prosperity? Life is hard. God is good! I love God more than I ever imagined I could. My greatest dreams and desires revolve around Him. My relationship with Jesus means more to me than life itself! How could such a weak and sinful man draw so near to Jesus? God existed in a loving relationship since before time began. He created you and me to join that loving relationship! Jesus stands at the crossroads of humanity calling out to His beloved. He holds an olive branch in one hand. Salvation is in the other. He gives abundant life to all who answer. Jesus waits patiently for people who walked away from His love. He is a gentleman. Jesus does not force grace and forgiveness on us. He does give them to anyone who went back into the world and returns to Him! Our Heavenly Father calls faintly from the din and clamor of a world rushing to and fro. He seeks the attention of those riding the whirlwind of deception and confusion. The Lord says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” His children receive peace that surpasses understanding when they step off the treadmill of vanity. The Great Physician calls out to people who suffer pain and heartache. The promises of God are in His right hand. By His mighty power and unchanging nature they will all be fulfilled at the appointed time. We will live in a world with no sorrow tears or pain. There will be no separation of death in eternity. It will be filled with unending joy and eternal contentment. Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard. Vs 8 We can bless God today. We can bless Him with our praise and worship. We can bless Him with our devotion. The Lord’s greatest desire is to be blessed by our love! www.joyfor2day.com www.facebook.com/Joyfor2dayDailyDevotional https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
