For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8 NKJV
None of us, not your Pastor or the person who led you to Christ ever did anything to earn God’s grace. Jesus saved us. We did not save ourselves. God holds out His gift of salvation to all people who call on the name of Jesus Christ! Since no one can earn God’s gift no one will be denied salvation. It is God’s desire for all people to enter a saving relationship with Jesus. We should never think we are better than people who are not saved. God saved us from death and eternal separation from Him so we can live in His presence in unending joy! If I could share one simple truth with people who do not know the Lord I would say, “Jesus loves you.” “The Lord created you to live in a loving relationship with Him!” A barrier came between God and man! God made a way for that barrier to be broken down. We can be blessed with an intimate loving relationship with Jesus today. The way to reconciliation with God is faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ! God is alive. Jesus wants to walk beside us today. Jesus wants to show unsaved people the way to eternal life. Jesus is calling us to be a link in His endless timeless chain of salvation! Each one of us is called to lead other people to faith in Jesus Christ! Sharing the Lord with other people is a gift of God! It is also a responsibility entrusted to us by God! It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ and not of ourselves that we can lead people to faith in the Lord. Jesus reaches out to people through us! The God who created us in His image and Likeness is calling you into an intimate loving relationship with Jesus Christ today! If you do not know the Lord He is speaking to you today. He is saying, “My precious child, I love you!” “In my right hand is the gift of eternal life.” “Come to Me so I can walk beside you today and with you in eternity!” If you know the Lord you are His workmanship created for good works which He prepared, so you could walk in them, so that other people can receive the gift of God! Do not boast. Do not get puffed up with pride. Serve the Risen Lord Jesus in humility and faithfulness! http://www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
