I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Revelation 3:15-16 NKJV
The bible was written for us today. Why would Jesus say such a thing to us? But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 2 Timothy 2:20 NKJV Jesus has a plan and a purpose for the righteous and the wicked. God uses both. God chose Moses to lead His people out of bondage in Egypt. He chose Moses to deliver the law to His people. God used Moses to do great and might works such as the parting of the Red Sea. God also used Pharaoh the king of Egypt. The bible says God hardened Pharaoh’s heart. God raised him up for a specific purpose. God used Pharaoh to glorify His name in all the Earth. I am sitting at my computer writing down the words God gives me. This message will go out to thousands of people. I am stepping out in faith. God is being glorified. I will be done in a few minutes. What I do the rest of the day will determine if I am hot, cold or lukewarm. If I am hot (filled with the Holy Spirit) God will use me to glorify Himself. If I am cold God will transform me and be glorified. If I am lukewarm (playing church but living like the devil) I will bring shame to Jesus and lead others away from Christ! Jesus wants you to be on fire for Him today! Jesus did not create you for mediocrity (lukewarm). He created you for greatness. I am not saying Jesus wants everyone to be rich and famous. I am saying Jesus wants all His people to be full of the Holy Spirit. Jesus wants you to be more than a conqueror. He wants you to be an over comer. God wants people to see Jesus in you today! God raised you up for just such a time as this. He has chosen you to lead His people out of bondage to sin and unbelief. Jesus has chosen you to deliver the Word of God to His people! God chose you to be a vessel of righteousness for His glory and honor today! www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
