If you would earnestly seek God and make your supplication to the Almighty, If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awaken for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place. Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly. Job 8:5-7 NKJV
Job’s friend Bildad urges him to repent. Like Eliphaz he speaks of God’s justice. Like Job and Eliphaz he believes God always blesses the righteous and punishes the wicked. We should all repent or turn from wickedness and embrace righteousness. God is just in all His dealings with us. The Lord does bless the righteous and punish wickedness. God’s ways are very different than ours! The days before Jesus returns will be wicked. Depravity will be unbridled. People will commit all manner of evil and call it good. The devil will tighten his grip upon the world. Satan will lash out at God’s people. Evil will be in full bloom for a short period of time. People who love Jesus and trust Him will be blessed. If we call on God He will answer. The answers may not come right away. Then suddenly as if the Lord was roused from a slumber Jesus will answer with blessing and prosperity of spirit! The place where we prosper will not be built by human hands. Jesus is preparing it for us. As if roused from a deep sleep He will appear suddenly and come riding on the clouds to take us home. We were born in sin and iniquity. Our lives are spent in a land that is not our home. We are surrounded by evil and injustice. In our Heavenly Father’s house we will be surrounded by true love. We will spend eternity in perfection and the beauty of holiness! It is wrong to believe only evil people suffer. Godly people are not always blessed the way we expect. There are many evil people who appear to prosper. God is allowing them the freedom to choose how they live and where they spend eternity. There are many Godly people suffering. God has not abandoned them. Goodly people will spend eternity with Jesus! Israel has suffered more than any nation or people ever have. God has protected them and blessed them more than any other people. They are His. God loves them. All people who call on the Name of the Lord are the people of God. He loves us. He is calling us to trust Him more than ever before. The days are growing darker by the hour. When Jesus returns will He find faith upon the earth? Yes, He will. We will be here! Do not judge God by your circumstances. If the Lord could take us out of this fallen world and still carry out His perfect plan for creation He would. Seek Jesus and you will find Him. Follow Jesus and He will teach you His ways! Jesus will prosper you in ways you cannot comprehend. Wait in faith. Jesus is faithful! www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
