Am I a God near at hand, says the Lord, And not a God far off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see Him? Says the Lord; Do I not fill heaven and Earth? says the Lord. Jeremiah 23:23-24 NKJV
God speaks about false prophets who lead His people astray. He says “I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran. I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in My counsel, And had caused My people to hear My words, Then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings”. God is against false prophets and evil shepherds because they harm to His people. God tells His people He is not in a far off distant place. He is close enough to see everything. No one can hide from Him. He fills the heavens and the Earth. He wants His people to know He will hold them accountable for their choices and actions. God holds the false prophets and evil shepherds accountable for leading the people astray. He holds the people to account for believing the lies of false prophets. He holds the people accountable for following false shepherds who abuse their authority. The Lord is speaking to us today. He is not far away. He did not create the heavens and the Earth and go away somewhere. He did not create us and leave us to ourselves. He is with us. He sees everything we do. The Spirit of God fills the heavens and the Earth. Nothing can exist apart from the Lord. He holds all things together. The Holy Spirit is everywhere people gather together in Jesus name! God will hold the false prophets of our day accountable for the words they speak in His name. He will hold ungodly leaders to account for leading people astray today. The Lord sent His people into captivity. His purpose was to draw them back into a loving relationship with Him! Jesus wants to draw us into a deeper loving relationship with Him today! The things we do in secret are not hidden from Jesus. He does not want us to be taken captive by sin. Jesus wants us to be free to enjoy the abundant life. How can we live the abundant life? We can call upon the Lord to bring correction into our lives. We can ask Him not to leave us to ourselves. We can ask Him to expose false teachers. We can call upon Jesus to bring godly leaders into our lives. Jesus is near enough to hear you when you call out to Him. He sees the good works you do in secret. Call out to the Lord today. Ask Him to give you the wisdom to discern the times we live in. Ask Jesus to send forth His word to cleanse hearts like a refiner’s fire! Ask God to use you to lead His people into the promised land of abundant living! http://www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
