Jesus can turn your trials into testimonies and hardships into opportunities to trust Him!2/14/2018 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 NKJV
There are many places in the bible where we can find the promises of God. This is one of my favorite. God is speaking to the children of Israel in biblical times. He is speaking to you today. When I need encouragement I often turn to the 41st chapter of Isaiah. I begin reading towards the end of verse 9. This is what it says; You are My servant, I have chosen you and have not cast you away; Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish, You shall seek them and not find them, those who contend with you, those who war against you shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing, For I the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not, I will help you. The Lord keeps drawing me back to this portion of scripture. I am His servant. He has chosen me. He will never cast me away. Sometimes I wonder if God has chosen me to serve Him. I wonder if God has turned His back on me. Does Jesus really promise to be with me, to strengthen me, to uphold me with His righteous right hand and protect me from harm. The answer is yes, He does! God calls all of us to serve Him. God’s promises of protection and provision are for us today. You may be experiencing trials and hardship today. God has not forgotten you. He has not cast you away. God is faithful. He keeps His promises! You are not experiencing hardship because you failed to muster up enough faith. You are not suffering because you have not prayed enough. God does not want you to trust in your ability to muster up enough faith. He doesn’t want your faith to be in prayer. Jesus wants you to trust Him. The Lord wants your faith to be in Him and only Him! God knows we will find ourselves in situations where we do not know what to do or where to turn. Turn to Jesus Christ. He is God. He will hold your right hand so that you do not fall. Jesus will help you! The Lord can turn your trials into testimonies and your hardships into opportunities to walk by faith. Do not be fearful. Jesus will help you overcome every obstacle you face on your journey into the promised land of God’s kingdom! http://www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
