God wants to bless you with eternal things that will never lose value or fade into oblivion!1/8/2018 Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you. Haggai 2:19 NKJV The scriptures should raise questions in our minds. The question on my mind today is does God still speak directly to His people? God speaks to people in many different ways. He can speak to us in dreams and visions. He speaks to us in the quietness of our thoughts and desires. God speaks to us through other people and the circumstances of life. He is speaking to us through His written Word today. This morning I was troubled in my spirit. I told the Lord how I was feeling. He spoke to me. Not in a way I could hear with my ears but in a way I could hear with my heart. The Lord said, “Draw near to me.” How do I know it was God speaking to me? The bible tells us to draw near to God and He will draw near to us. God speaks to us because He loves us. He wants to bless us. The Lord highlighted this verse of scripture for me several years ago. I was reading my bible and the letters jumped of the page at me. God was speaking to me. The Lord was saying He would bless me. When I saw this verse of scripture I wondered if God really did speak to me? Was this verse of scripture really written for me today? By faith I believe it was. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. God was instructing the children of Israel to build His house. He promised to bless them. The Lord has the same desires and instructions for us today. God wants us to be about His business. He wants us to build His Kingdom. He promises to bless us. God is not promising if you serve Him you will hit the lottery or make millions in business. He is saying if we walk in His ways and serve Him you will bear fruit for His Kingdom and glory. Our blessings will be eternal. They will never lose value or fade into oblivion. Trust God with your life. Trust the Lord to bless you with the true riches of His Kingdom! The true riches of God’s Kingdom are to see His will carried out in the lives of His people. The true riches of the Kingdom are to see people turn from darkness to light! Your blessings will be revealed in God’s perfect time. Draw near to Jesus and He will draw near to you! http://www.joyfor2day.com https://twitter.com/JoyFor2day #Joyfor2daydailydevotional
