Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
These words were written to you. They were written about you. God is speaking to you today. Jesus wants you to know Him. He does not want you to just know of Him.
The first time I saw my wife I knew of her. I knew she existed. I knew what she looked like. I did not really know anything about her.
After getting to know my wife I discovered she has compassion for people. She cares about the welfare of people she loves. She also cares about people she does not know. God created her in His image and likeness. She reflects His compassionate nature.
Jesus did not create us and leave us on our own. Jesus wants us to know we do not have to go through life alone. We do not have to rely on our own strength and resources as we journey through life in a fallen world.
Jesus is committed to your welfare and safety. It is important to Him. If you trust Jesus with your life He will provide for all your needs and protect you from true danger!
One of the definitions of trust is something that is committed to the care of another. How do we commit ourselves into God’s care?
We commit ourselves into the Lord’s care by believing God’s promises. We trust Jesus with our lives by doing what He tells us. We show Jesus how much we trust Him by taking everything to Him in prayer!
In this verse the Lord says “Fear Not” because He knows we will be fearful at times.
Most of us do not live in fear. When we are confronted with our limitations we can become fearful. You are an eternal being created in the image and likeness of God. Jesus will protect you from the things that war against your soul if you trust Him!
Jesus tells us not to be dismayed because life can be confusing at times.
Most of us do not live in confusion. We do have a limited understanding of reality. You have access to the Ancient of Ages. God’s wisdom and knowledge are total and complete. Turn to Jesus when you have questions. Jesus has the answers you need.
Jesus did not create us to live independently from Him. Jesus wants us to trust and rely on Him for everything. Do not separate yourself from His love and care. You do not need to know everything. You only need to know and trust the God who knows all things!
Commit yourself into God’s loving care and Jesus will hold onto you with His righteous right hand!
