Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1 NKJV
Do you have a personal relationship with God? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior? Do you know Jesus? Do you Love Jesus?
To know Jesus Christ is to love Him. It is impossible to know God without loving Him!
God is Holy. God is perfect. God’s ways are pure and righteous. God’s love is perfect. His love is irresistible. It is the love of God for us that compels us to love Him!
When I pray for people who do not know Jesus I ask the Lord to reveal Himself to them. I am convinced that no one who really knows Jesus can resist His love. The love of Jesus transforms us into lovers of God.
God created us to be loved by Him. His love completes us.
We all know people who have decided against turning to Christ. The Gospel was presented to them and they did not respond. People who do not respond to God’s call have a misunderstanding of who Jesus is.
Jesus wants to give us the desires of our hearts. Jesus knows what our true desires are. The Creator knows the true needs of the people He created in His image and likeness.
Our mission as Christians is to know Jesus Christ and make Him known to the world.
God’s love is endless. Jesus wants you to draw ever closer to Him. Jesus wants to fill your heart with love until it overflows into the lives of people who do not know how Him!
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior turn to Him today. Jesus is waiting for you. He is waiting to show you how much He loves you.
Jesus will not reject you. Jesus will receive you as a beloved child. Jesus will pour out His perfect love upon you and you will lack no good thing!
Turn to Jesus in the quietness of your own heart. Jesus will answer the cry of your heart with love!
Tell Jesus you are tired of doing things your own way. Ask Him to forgive your sins. Ask Jesus to come into your life and make all things new. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior today.
Ask Jesus to show you how much He loves you!
Get to know Jesus better by spending time with Him. Trust Jesus with your life. Walk a little closer with Jesus than ever before. Follow Jesus all the days of your life!
Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 1 Samuel 17:45 NKJV
The future King of Israel spoke these words to Goliath the Philistine warrior.
Goliath was a giant. He had been a man of war since his youth. David was just a boy. David killed a lion and a bear but was untested on the battlefield. Goliath was the champion of the Philistine army. His skill was forged in battle. He was undefeated.
Goliath carried deadly weapons. An armor bearer carrying his shield went before him. David had no armor. He went to war with a heart full of faith, a slingshot and five smooth stones. David did not run onto the battlefield alone. God was with Him!
David knew God would not allow His people to be defeated and disgraced. David knew God would not let a giant defeat anyone who so boldly declared the name of the Lord!
This event thrust David into the spotlight. Soon everyone in Israel would know how he defeated Goliath.
God knew David before he was born. God had His hand upon David. David lived in relationship with the Lord long before he met Goliath on the battlefield. God loved David. David knew it. David knew God loved Israel. He knew God would protect them!
Jesus knew you before you were born. The Lord has His hand upon you today. God loves you as much as He loved David. Jesus loves people who serve Him today as much as He loved the children of Israel. Jesus will protect you just as He protected David!
Jesus wants you to be a mighty warrior in His spiritual army. Jesus wants your relationship with Him to prosper and bear fruit for His glory and honor!
Jesus can accomplish great and mighty deeds in you and through you no matter how many giants come against you. The Lord will not allow people who serve Jesus to be defeated and disgraced. Warriors in God’s army never go into battle alone!
Lightning flashed from the sky. The region where I live is on fire. The deadly pandemic devastated our economy. We are forced to cover our faces and isolate in our homes. What is really going on? Satan is roaming the earth seeking whom He may devour!
We are in a season of trial, turmoil, and uncertainty. Has the Lord abandoned us? The prince of the air has authority to create havoc and hardship, but God still reigns over all of creation!
This is the day for you to fight your battle of faith. You will not be alone when you face the giant obstacles waring against your faith. Almighty God is with you today!
And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. Titus 3:14 NKJV
Paul instructs Titus in how Christian leaders should conduct themselves. He lays out the qualifications for church leadership.
We get too caught up in the idea of designating some people leaders and other people followers. The qualifications for church leaders are guidelines that should be followed by all Christians.
The Church does need leaders. Godly leadership should be characterized by service. Jesus told His disciples; “But he who would be greatest among you shall be your servant.” Jesus chastised the leaders of the Gentiles who lord over people.
The United States Marine Corps trains all Marines to lead. God calls each of us to lead in different ways at different times!
A new believer had questions. He went to someone who knew Jesus longer. His friend answered, for God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, or he would say I do not know but I will find out.
Someone will look to you for leadership and guidance. Other people can benefit from your walk of faith. There is someone somewhere you can help train up in the Lord. You do not have to be a Pastor Priest or Theologian to lead people to Jesus!
If we are a part of Christ’s Body we should act like the Body of Christ. If we believe the bible is the Word of God we should do what it says!
We are not saved by good works. Good works are evidence of Christ working out His good and perfect will in us and through us. Good works are evidence of our love for Jesus!
God wants to reach out and touch people right where they are. He wants to meet people’s needs regardless of what they are. The Lord wants to show people how much He loves them regardless of what they have done.
Jesus wants you to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs and produce fruits of righteousness today!
God is restoring His creation one heart one soul and one life at a time. Jesus wants you to join Him in His work. The Lord is calling you to lead His people to Him by serving them!
Ask Jesus how you can share His love with someone somewhere today!
So, he answered and said to me: This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel; Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, Says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 NKJV
Jesus has plans for you!
God wants to bless you and prosper you in ways you do even know. The Lord wants to use you to bless and prosper other people in ways they do not yet know.
God created you for His glory. The Lord created you to pull down the strongholds of the enemy. God wants to demolish vain imaginations which exalt themselves against the knowledge of Jesus. What does that mean?
The Lord wants to deliver people from bondage to unbelief. Jesus wants to open blind eyes and set prisoners free just as He did in the days of His earthly sojourn.
God loves you with an everlasting love. He wants you to share His love with people who do not know Jesus. The Lord wants you to know Jesus Christ and make Him known to the world. God has chosen to reveal Himself to the world through you!
We do not worship an impersonal power source that triggered a chain of creative events. We worship a personal God who loves us. Our Heavenly Father wants us to partner with Him as He rules and reigns over His creation in love.
God does not expect us to accomplish great and mighty things on our own. We are not little gods. Jesus wants us to give ourselves over to Him so He can do great and mighty things in us and through us.
We are holy warriors in God’s army. The weapons of our warfare are love, humility, and submission to Jesus.
Jesus is conducting a rescue operation. He is taking back everything the enemy has stolen. All of creation will be restored to perfection in God’s perfect time.
The enemy has taken captives. Jesus is opening prison gates. Deceiving spirits are teaching false doctrine. Jesus is opening blind eyes. Satan comes to steal kill and destroy. Jesus is our promise and guarantee of eternal life!
Jesus will transform this dark and dangerous world. Wars and rumors of wars will cease. Peace will prevail. There will be no sickness, violence, natural disasters, or crime. We will worship our King in the beauty of holiness without distraction forever!
Trust Jesus to accomplish everything God has promised to people who love and honor Him. Trust the Lord to use you in ways you could have never dreamed possible. Trust Almighty God to bring about a total transformation of creation through His Holy Spirit!
So, I will strengthen them in the Lord, And they shall walk up and down in His name,” Says the Lord. Zechariah 10:12 NKJV
Sometimes we must speak from our own personal experience. God saved us from something (death and condemnation), for something (to be His witnesses here on the Earth). Jesus saved us so He can use us to reach other people with the Gospel!
I started sending out these messages thirteen years ago. God was speaking to me. Jesus stirred my soul with passion for Him. I felt like other people needed to hear what God was showing me. I needed an outlet to express what Jesus was doing in my life.
Jesus wants us to be so moved by Him we overflow into the lives of other people!
My family and I have fought through many hardships and trials. Jesus delivered us through every one of them. What did I learn? Life is a struggle. But the battle is the Lord’s. Victory is ours when we take a stand on the solid rock of faith in Jesus Christ!
In seasons of trials and tribulations we took a stand of faith in Jesus. During seasons of uncertainty we stood in faith on God’s promises. Jesus did not deliver us from our problems. Jesus delivered us safely through them!
God gave us the grace to experience joy in seasons of weeping and mourning. He gave us peace in the eye of the storm. We were not dragged down by our circumstances. We rose above them. We walked up and down the battlefield of life in Jesus mighty name!
We did not do it in our own strength. Our faith did not see us through trials and testing. Jesus did. We set the Lord always before us. He took our right hand and we were not moved. Jesus carried us when we could not go on. Jesus comforted us when we wept!
Is God your refuge and hiding place? Is He the answer to all your problems? Turn to Jesus today. Take your stand of faith on His promises!
God is not asking you to muster up an extra measure of faith. He is not asking you to harden yourself for battle or prepare and train yourself for the attacks of our enemy. God is calling you to fight the good fight of faith by surrendering to His will for your life.
Jesus will strengthen you. You can walk up and down the circumstances of your life in His name today!
Today may be your day to fight the good fight of faith. Take your stand on the promises of God. Trust Jesus with your circumstances. Jesus will give you the strength to walk up and down the obstacles and high hurdles of your life.
Do not be moved by trials and hardship. Be moved by the Spirit of God!
Your faith can overflow into the lives of people who need Jesus to carry them safely through the minefields of life in a fallen world. Take a stand of faith in Jesus today!
Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you. Haggai 2:19 NKJV
The scriptures should raise questions in our minds. The question on my mind today is does God still speak directly to people?
God speaks to people in many ways. He can speak to us in dreams and visions. He speaks to us in the quietness of our thoughts and desires. God speaks to us through other people and the circumstances of life. The Lord is speaking to us through His written Word today.
I was troubled in my spirit. I told Jesus how I was feeling. He spoke to me. It was not in a way I could hear with my ears. God spoke to me in a way I could hear with my heart.
The Lord said, “Draw near to me.” How do I know it was God speaking to me? The bible tells us to draw near to God and He will draw near to us.
Jesus speaks to us because He loves us. Jesus wants to bless us.
The Lord highlighted this verse of scripture for me several years ago. I was reading my bible and the letters jumped of the page at me. God was speaking to me. Jesus said He would bless me.
When I saw this verse of scripture I wondered if God really did speak to me? Was this verse of scripture really written for us today? By faith I believe it was. Jesus has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams!
God was instructing the children of Israel to build His house. God promised to bless Israel if they obeyed.
The Lord has the same desires and instructions for us today. Jesus wants us to be about His Father’s business. Jesus wants to use us to build His Father’s Kingdom. Jesus wants to use us to bless each other!
Jesus is not promising if you serve Him you will hit the lottery or make millions in business. Jesus is saying if we walk in His ways and serve Him we will bear fruit for His Kingdom. Our blessings will be eternal. They will never lose value or fade into oblivion.
Trust Jesus with your life. Trust Jesus to bless you with the true riches of His Kingdom!
The true riches of God’s Kingdom are to see His will carried out in the lives of His people. The true riches of God’s Kingdom are to see people turn from darkness to light through faith in Jesus Christ!
Your blessings will be revealed in God’s perfect time. Draw near to Jesus and He will draw near to you!
And it shall be, in that day, Says the Lord, That you will call Me My Husband, And no longer call Me my Master, Hosea 2:16 NKJV
God commanded the Prophet Hosea to marry an unfaithful woman. God wanted Hosea to experience the rejection and betrayal He felt.
God chose the children of Israel from among all the nations of the earth. God chose Israel to be His special possession. The Lord chose Israel to be set apart to Him. God chose to lavish His love upon Israel. Almighty God wanted to be loved by Israel!
God delivered Israel from bondage to the Egyptians. He provided food and water for them in the in the wilderness. He led them on their journey into the Promised Land. God gave Israel victory over their enemies.
Despite the love and care God lavished upon Israel they set their hearts on idols. They worshiped false gods that were not gods at all. They walked away from a set apart relationship with the Lord. They chose to live like the nations surrounding them.
God desired to live in intimate relationship with Israel. He desired their adoration love and praise above all else!
God declared He would draw the children of Israel back into intimacy with Him. He would forgive their idolatry. He would forgive them for rejecting and despising His love. God would transform their legalistic rituals into true worship!
These verses of scripture were written to people who lived long ago in a foreign land. The Word of God was written to us, for us and about us!
Jesus is speaking to people who set their hearts on idols today. People who allow other things to occupy first place in their hearts. Jesus is speaking to people distracted by trials and hardship. He is speaking to people attracted to things that glitter and shine but have no eternal value.
God desires relationship with us above all things. Jesus will draw us back to Him!
The Lord’s mercy and compassion are new every morning. The size and scope of our sins, failures, and mistakes, do not matter. Jesus is waiting for us to return to Him. Jesus is waiting for us with a heart full of love compassion and forgiveness.
If you have strayed from the love of God return to Him. Jesus is waiting for you to seek Him. Jesus is waiting for you to incline your heart to Him. Do not let anything prevent you from living out your life in covenant relationship with Jesus!
Almighty God longs for the day you will look at Him with the eyes of a bride adoring her beloved husband. Jesus longs for the day you will be as faithful to Him as He is to you!
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 NKJV
God spoke to me in a dream. He said, “Be filled with the Spirit.”
God was not referring to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I have already been baptized in the Holy Spirit. God was not saying I need the Holy Spirit to take up residence in my heart. That happens when we are born again.
I have seen born again believers become trapped in bondage to sin. Not just before coming to Christ but after as well. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God.
The Lord gave me an example of how to be filled with the Spirit of God. He gave me an example of how to fulfill the sinful lusts of my flesh as well.
Think of your life as a glass. If you put milk in the glass you have a glass of milk. If you put water in the glass you have a glass of water. If you put whiskey in the glass you will have a glass of whiskey.
The things we fill our lives with determine how we live. If we spend our time satisfying the sinful desires of our flesh we will live in the flesh. If we spend our time seeking Jesus and drawing near to the Lord we will be filled with the Holy Spirit.
The choices we make determine if we walk in the flesh or in the Spirit!
God can use anyone at any time for any purpose. God uses sinners. He uses us. At some point we will reap what we sow. When we feed our fleshly desires they grow stronger.
When we seek and follow Jesus the Lord forms His heart in us.
Pursuing the lustful desires of my sinful nature left me feeling lost and alone. The void of separating myself from God left me with an emotional hangover only Jesus could cure!
Pressing into Jesus so my life is hidden in Christ gives it meaning. Jesus satisfies my soul in a way nothing else can. Having tasted the sweetness of intimacy with God my soul can only be satisfied by God’s presence. Only Jesus can fill my life with Joy!
God gives you the freedom to choose how you live.
I have made a habit of asking God to put His desires in my heart so that on the day He grants the desires of my heart they would be the desires Jesus deposited into my heart!
Ask Jesus for the grace and wisdom to make good and Godly choices. Make walking in the Spirit of God the true desire of your heart!
Thus, says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from every language of nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you. Zechariah 8:23 NKJV
God said He would bless the great city. He will bless the nation of Israel. He will cause Israel to be a blessing to other nations and people.
My wife has a sister. She is married. She has children. They do not know Jesus. My wife traveled to the city where her sister lives to attend a woman’s conference. She asked her sister to stop by for a visit.
My sister in law thought it was funny that so many Christian women were gathered in one place. She is a mocker. She thinks Christians are odd. She is uncomfortable around us even though we do not preach to her or judge her.
My wife’s sister calls when her family is in crisis. She calls my wife because my wife has a relationship with Jesus. She calls because my wife prays. She knows God hears my wife when she prays. She calls my wife because of her special status as God’s beloved!
People who reject Jesus often turn to the Lord in times of trail and turmoil.
We must be available when people reach out to us. We must reach out and love them as though Jesus is reaching out to them and loving them through us. We must pray for them. We must tell them God loves them. We must tell them about Jesus!
Jesus is blessed when unbelievers call out to Him. They can have the same intimate relationship with Jesus we have with the Lord. Unsaved people will turn to you during times of distress if they see a reflection of God’s loving nature in your life!
Tell people what Jesus has done for you in the past. Tell them what Jesus will do for you in the future. Tell them what Jesus is doing for you today. Jesus wants us to share with other people the joys and blessings of living in intimate relationship with Him!
Jesus is with us today. He is an ever-present help in times of need. He is leading and guiding us today. Jesus loves us through the trials and hardships we endure.
If you surrender your hearts and life to Jesus He will use you to bless other people!
Covid-19 has captured the attention of every race, nation, and tribe of people on planet Earth. This event will make it easier for the forces of evil to control the masses. There will come a day when the darkness of deception will be offered up as a light of salvation!
Almighty God sits on the throne of Creation. Jesus is the way to God the Father. Jesus is the truth of God. Only Jesus can deliver eternal life to people who love and worship Him!
Jesus raised you up for this specific time in His-Story! Be a light to the next generation of believers to follow! Do not curse the darkness! Reflect the light of God’s love!
That they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. Ezekiel 11:20 NKJV
I marked every place in the book of Ezekiel where God says, “And they shall be My people, and I will be their God.” That book is all marked up!
God is speaking to the people He sent into captivity. He is speaking to the remnant left in Israel. The Lord is speaking to the people He chose to be set apart for Him!
God repeats this statement after pronouncing judgment on Israel. He uses the same words when He says He will restore Israel. God promises to do such a great work in their lives they will be moved to live in obedience to Him. The Lord promises to bless them!
God is speaking to people who are living in bondage today. He is speaking to the remnant who live in relationship with Him today. Jesus is speaking these same words to the people He chose to be set apart for His glory and honor today!
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 NKJV
God created us to live in loving relationship with Him. He created us to love Him and be loved by Him. There is nothing God will not do to bring us into intimate relationship with Him. Jesus will use every means at His disposal to bless us today and forever!
God gave us free will. He will not violate it. Jesus gives us the freedom to receive or reject His love. God gave us the freedom to love Him or withhold our love from Him!
God’s love for you is so great and unending He demonstrated it by sacrificing His one and only Son for you. Jesus who knew no sin became sin to bring you back into a loving relationship with God the Father!
Jesus will use every trial hardship sorrow sin and failure as only He can to lead you into His loving presence!
The final decision is yours and yours alone. Will you receive God’s great love and love Him? Will you allow God to mold you and shape you into the person He created you to be?
Allow God to bring you back into loving relationship with Him. Do not wait. Turn to Jesus today. He is waiting for you! In the quietness of your own heart ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. God is waiting to show you how much He loves you!
Jesus wants you to show Him how much you love Him. Say it out loud right now. Lord Jesus I love you!
Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. What is this “beauty of holiness?” Find out for yourself by surrendering your life to Jesus!
